Our mates Tobie and Ronel moved into a new house this month and of course in true South African style, we were all invited to a housewarming braai! It was meant to be a “POOL PARTY”, little did I realise that the pool in question was a POOL TABLE! Oh yes, so while the guys poked at little round balls on the table, the ladies decided that enough was enough and made the fire! Kids to feed and all that, so it seemed the best part of valour!

Fathers DaySunday was Fathers Day, and what is the best you can do for a South African daddy? That’s right! Braai and Beer! Okes don’t wanna dress up and go to an expensive restaurant to chow, just give them a fire, some good company and enough beer and that sorts them out! I didn’t trip over the tent peg and slice my cheek open! I didn’t steal somebody else’s bed cos I couldn’t get up due to….you guessed it ALCOHOL! Last Updated (Friday, 30 April 2010 05:52) |
